What is robotic demolition?
Robotic demolition is the use of remotely-controlled demolition machines to carry out tasks that would otherwise be carried out by manual labour. Our Brokk demolition robot is one such machine.
The Brokk demolition robot is a tracked, remote-controlled machine that can be used for various tasks such as breaking concrete, removing plasterboard and cutting through metal. The machine is fitted with a number of attachments, depending on the task at hand, and can be operated by one person using a remote control.

The benefits of robotic demolition
There are huge benefits to using modern demolition robots such as Brokk machines vs traditional labour or plant. These benefits include:
- Increased safety: Brokk machines can be operated from a distance, meaning that the operator is not exposed to the same risks as they would be if they were carrying out the task manually.
- Excellent range: The Brokk has a range of 300m, meaning it can be used in a wide variety of applications from safe distances.
- Environmentally friendly: The Brokk robot has electric motors for reduced noise and zero fumes.
- Compact but powerful: The Brokk demolition robot is an ideal tool for working in confined spaces or weight-restricted areas.
- Efficient: Brokk machines are able to carry out demolition tasks quickly and efficiently, with less personnel meaning that tasks can be completed in shorter time frames.
