At Hookstone, we value trust and transparency above all else, and ensure quality is at the heart of everything we do. We're experts in the demolition field and our first-class reputation has it's foundations in the way we approach every project. We've outlined below an overview of our approach and what you can expect at each stage of a typical project.

1.
It starts with a conversation

Consultation

It all starts with a conversation. Talk with one of our experts about your project. We're really knowledgable, and we're always happy to help. We pride ourselves on being 100% transparent and our experts are always on hand to offer their advice.

2.
Site visit & scope of works

Assessment

Next, we schedule a visit where we come and perform a thorough assessment of the site. We can then begin to form a plan in terms of project specifics, for example:

  • Logistical considerations
  • Waste plans
  • Environmental impact reports
  • Material reclamation and recycling plan
  • Plant requirements

We prioritise sustainability in all our projects and as such make environmental assessments using BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method). In alignment with BREEAM standards, we put together environmental reports and submit a full scope of works which will layout a plan for the entire project.

Furthermore, we carry out a full risk assessment to ensure that we have planned for as many eventualities as possible. Safety is one of our top priorities. We take into account all the potential risks and hazards, as well as put together a health and safety plan, so that the project can be completed safely and with as little disruption as possible.

This is a crucial part of the process and one that we take very seriously.

3.
Agreement of terms

Confirmation

After we've agreed on the plan and you are happy to proceed, we submit the order confirmation as well as the agreement to terms. This is where we also set a project schedule and commencement date.

4.
Mobilising on-site

Commencement

Upon the commencement date, we mobilise on-site and begin the enabling works to prepare the site for demolition. Once we mobilise plant, the work proceeds. We prioritise transparency and as such schedule regular meetings throughout the duration of the project to keep you in informed of progress every step of the way. Any issues that may arise will be discussed with you and a quick and optimal solution found.

5.
Practical completion certificate

Completion

Once the work is done we issue you with a Practical Completion Certificate. This certifies that the job is complete and to the agreed standards set out in the scope of works. You can now take full possession of the site. We're proud of our first-class service and our projects are completed on time and to budget, every time.
